Description: The World Health Organization identifies a lack of awareness and understanding of dementia, such as the impact on activities of daily living (ADLs), as a barrier that impacts caregivers and families physically, psychologically, and economically. Occupational therapists are trained to influence the health and well-being of caregivers along with the personal and environmental factors that contribute to performance of their caregiving role. This webinar will explore the effect of The Family Caregiver Training Program for caregivers of people with dementia. Discussion will include a review of the caregiving literature within occupational therapy, research outcomes, and implications for research and practice.

This purchase is for the March 8, 2016 Lunch & Learn webinar presentation web link archive. The archive purchase will be in the format of a web-based link that will be emailed to you separately in the following business days.
