Description
Occupational Therapy Interventions for Chronic Stroke: Comparing Intensive Task-Specific and Occupation-Based Interventions- Webinar Archive
WEB LINK ARCHIVE PURCHASE
Presenter: Camille Skubik-Peplaski & Melba Custer
Description: Current evidence about interventions to improve upper extremity (UE) function after stroke is complex with some research suggesting that highly repetitive movement patterns are effective in improving UE function (Liepert et al., 2000). Evidence also supports the use of occupation-based interventions (Skubik-Peplaski et al., 2012). There is a lack of conclusive evidence on which technique is most effective. This webinar will present a study investigating change in perceived motor performance and measures of corticospinal neuroplastic change as we compared two separate interventions. Intervention examples will be given with outcome data so practitioners have an understanding how to implement effective interventions.

This purchase is for the June 2, 2015 Lunch & Learn webinar presentation web link archive. The archive purchase will be in the format of a web-based link that will be emailed to you separately in the following business days.
