Description: In order for children to have fun, grow, develop and learn it is important for them to be seated appropriately for the their size and functional needs. The mobility base selected will enhance their functional status while maintaining postural control and maximizing independence where able. Overall goals of seating and mobility for play and function may include: comfort & increased endurance, stability for active movement, prevention of postural deformity, heightened awareness level for learning, improved visual field, increased social interaction and overall improved self-image. This session will take a look at how enhanced seating and mobility for our little folks will add to their growth and development.
