Achieve Support & Development is an Autism Support Agency. Achieve’s head office is located in Maple Ridge, BC. and offers a multi-disciplinary approach to autism support.
Work in both clinic as well as client homes
Approx 3 days/week with potential to increase work load if desired

Occupational Therapist Position Overview:
The primary function of the Pediatric Occupational Therapist position is to provide Occupational Therapy to clients of Achieve Support & Development aged 0 to 19 years of age with the majority of clients between the ages of 6-10yrs. All Achieve clients have a diagnosis of Autism.
Duties will include:
Provide direct OT strategy, implementation, and support to children in home or community.
Communicate in a timely manner with Achieve staff and families to discuss child’s program.
Collect data as recommended by the Achieve team during every session.
Attend Achieve Staff Team meetings and Child Team meetings.
Involve parents or family members in sessions where relevant and within the OT Strategy and Plan of Intervention.
Prepare session materials and therapy plans/reports.
Prepare Autism Funding “Justification Forms” for families applying for payment for equipment or supplies relevant to OT goals.
Prepare At-Home requests for school-aged extended therapies form to access funding through At-Home program.
Must be a member of COTBC and agree to remain in current and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of B.C.
Must be willing to obtain a criminal record check
Must have a valid BC driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Must be willing to travel to client’s homes as needed
Must be able to commit to a minimum of 1 year
