George Jeffrey Children’s Centre is seeking an occupational therapist to work with children from infancy to 19 years of age. Working with a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, responsibilities include assessment, development and monitoring of treatment programs, consultation with parents/caregivers and other service providers, and assistance with resource needs. Some travel within Northern Ontario and catchment area may be required.
Candidates must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. A valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and access to a personal vehicle are required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can work effectively as part of an inter-disciplinary team to establish relationships with clients, families and other members of the child’s care team.
