STH is a 100 in-patient bed accredited facility in Yellowknife, and is a referral center for approximately 37,000 regional residents of the Western Arctic and Kitikmeot Region. Located within Stanton Territorial Hospital and reporting directly to the Occupational Therapy Leader / Supervisor is one of 8 Occupational Therapists who independently manage their own caseload and provide diagnostic, intervention, treatment, preventative, educational, counselling and referral services for patients whose health and function is affected by developmental, cognitive, physical and mental health challenges.

This level of knowledge is typically acquired through the successful completion of a Masters Entry level degree in Occupational Therapy. (A Baccalaureate Degree in Occupational Therapy completed prior to 2007 is considered equivalent to the Masters Entry level degree.
The salary range for this position is from $44.75 per hour to $53.44 per hour (approximately $87,263 - $104,208.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,450. A comprehensive benefits package includes:
