Diversified Rehabilitation Group Inc. (Diversified Rehab.) is a private corporation with its head office located in Kelowna, B.C., Diversified Rehab. also has an office in the located in Richmond and Burnaby B.C.
Diversified Rehab. provides leadership and expertise in Health and Wellness, Psychological services Disability Management in the province of British Columbia.
We are currently looking for a Community Occupational Therapists (OT) for our Kelowna office who can work with a 10 – 25 client caseload. The OT will work on a sub-contract basis with clients located in the Kelowna area and the Lower Mainland area.
Experience working with insurance clients( ICBC, WCB, LTD and medical legal)
Ability to complete extensive clinical interview & comprehensive initial assessment
Ability to complete Functional Capacity Evaluations, Jobsite Assessments and Ergonomic Assessments, Cost of Future Care Assessments and/or Acquired Brain Injury Assessments.
Able to develop and implement return to work plans
Provide education to the client and family
Manage a varied caseload and meet required timelines
Communicate regularly with referral sources
Provide timely written reports, according to established standards
Provide discharge planning & future care planning
Knowledge of community organizations and resources
A University Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in case management.
Ability to type 50 wpm, write letters and reports with emphasis on precision, accuracy, and professional format. Fluent knowledge of National Occupational classification structure is mandatory.
Proficient intermediate computer skills: Windows, MS Word, and Excel
Possess a valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle for home visiting
Have the ability to work from home office.
