Back in Motion Rehab has an exciting position available for a contractor Occupational Therapist with three years of experience to work as a Community Occupational Therapist in the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Sea to Sky Corridor, and Vancouver Island. In addition to three years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, related experience in the areas of Assistive Technology (Seating and Mobility, Pressure Management, Wound Care), Vehicle Modifications, Home Modifications, Dysphagia Management, Exercise Therapy, Pain Management or Mental Health would be an asset.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on customer service; and an interest in active rehabilitation. Back in Motion is looking for an energetic team player registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia and committed to the goal of helping clients work. Two years of experience working with clients in a return to work capacity or in the community is required. The successful candidate must have regular access to a vehicle, as travel across the Lower Mainland is required.
