Within the context of a person and family-centered model of care and in accordance with Northern Health’s vision for an idealized system of services built on a foundation of Primary Health Care, the Primary Care Occupational Therapist (OT) works collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop a plan of care and deliver health services coordinated through the Primary Care Home. The OT practices in accordance with the professional standards and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.


Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Permanent Part Time – Prince Rupert, BC


The Therapist provides Early Intervention Pediatric Therapy services, working with general supervision under the administrative direction of the Manager for Rehab Services, as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team delivering Family focused care to children 0 – 6 years old in their natural environment. The position requires frequent travel to a variety of settings and locations in Prince Rupert, Coastal Communities and Haida Gwaii. The position requires flexibility in meeting the needs of children and their families.

In order to be a successful applicant for Occupational Therapists positions, you will be a Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program. Licensed to practice under the College of Occupational Therapists of BC. Preference will be given to therapists who belong to C.A.O.T
