CAOT is recruiting two volunteers to present the role of an Occupational therapist in Home Modifications.

March of Dimes Opening Doors is a community resource showcase, gathering individuals living with a disability, health professionals, service providers, caregivers /partners or family members.

CAOT has secured a presentation time slot for an occupational therapist to speak about our unique role in supporting safe aging in place, and engagement in meaningful occupations for people living with varying degrees of ability.

The talk is entitled: "An Occupational Therapist to Support Living Well & Safe at Home" and the 30-minute presentation slides are already prepared. Selected volunteers will receive brief training prior to the event, and a thank you letter recognizing their service to the profession.
