SummaryWe are looking for an energetic, passionate Occupational Therapist to work in our Pain & Medication Management Program (PMMP) and our Concurrent Care Program (CCP). Though experience in pain and mental health is an asset, mentorship and training are available. The position involves the opportunity to work within a high functioning, interdisciplinary team (of Physical Therapists, Kinesiologists, Psychologists, Counsellors, Physicians and Pharmacists), assessing and treating clients with complex care needs.

Our team is working closely with our Technology Division to push the envelope on innovative care, as we expand our Pain, Mental Health and Addiction services.
·Assessment and treatment of function, with a return-to-work focus, within a complex care setting (chronic pain and mental health)
·Travel to the workplace for job site visits and coaching on-the-job
·Group based and 1:1 education, including education specific to pain neuroscience
·Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team
·Communication with various stakeholders, including employers, referrers and community healthcare providers
·Participation in program development and quality improvement initiatives
·Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC
·18 months experience working in an interdisciplinary pain program is an asset, though not required as mentorship is available
·Experience working within an insurance-based, return-to-work focused rehabilitation setting
·Excellent clinical skills, including strong communication, capacity to build therapeutic alliance and work as a collaborative team player.
