Interior Health’s TREKK Program (Therapeutic Rehabilitation for East Kootenay Kids) invites applications for the role of Occupational Therapist.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist knowledgeable in the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia, with desire to work with a school-based population. In this position the Occupational Therapist is responsible for the direction, coordination, evaluation, planning, implementing and monitoring of the TREKK Program in accordance with Interior Health, Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), and local School Districts’ goals and directions. The Occupational Therapist acts as an expert clinical resource to staff and students as it relates to the TREKK program and performs clinical duties/procedures within the TREKK program.
This position is to provide coverage until March 2022, or the return of incumbent. Days of work are Mondays through Thursdays. Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or British Columbia Society
