We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Specialized Services department.

In accordance with established vision and values of Northern Health, the Occupational Therapist performs assessments and interventions related to patients' occupational performance according to established Occupational Therapy practices and national provincial college standards. This position is an acute physical/medical generalist occupational therapy position based out of the University Hospital of Northern BC inpatient and outpatient departments. The occupational therapist works as a team member under the general supervision of the Chief Occupational Therapist of the OT department. This position rotates between acute physical/medical inpatient wards and outpatient services. The Occupational Therapist works independently and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days - 09:00 to 17:00, rotating

New Wage: As of April 1, 2023, the new wage is: $40.84 - $50.80/hour

Qualifications
  • Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
  • Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
