As a school Occupational Therapist (on the mental health and behaviour team) you'll collaborate with the teachers, school-based teams and the district mental health and behaviour team to understand the strengths and challenges of students with a variety of self-regulation and developmental challenges. Your focus will be on sensory processing, self-regulation, social skills, emotional regulation, and access to curriculum by creating an inclusive environment and skill in regulation you will promote student engagement and success. Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Department is comprised of school district staff members and Fraser Valley Child Development Centre (FVCDC) staff members who work together as a team to support student learning and access to education. The contract is a 12-month contract with vacation time falling within the school scheduled break times.

Salary Range: Based on the position’s Salary Grid and the candidates previous experience, the starting range for this (100%) full-time Occupational Therapist position is expected to be between $85,358 - $106,217.
