Welcome to Saskatoon!

Saskatoon is a thriving city graced with the vibrant beauty of nature. Divided by the winding South Saskatchewan River, Saskatoon's east and west face are joined by a series of bridges and lined with several kilometers of trails to jog, walk and explore. A city infused by a lively ambiance, friendly hospitality and rich, diverse cultural experiences, Saskatoon opens its hearts to visitors who delight in the city's mix of events, festivals and attractions.

Saskatchewan's largest city provides convenient amenities in an inviting, natural setting. A refreshment break is easy in Saskatoon - rejuvenate with an espresso in the trendy Broadway shopping district or enjoy delicious authentic local cuisine in one of our many fine restaurants. Check out the latest technology and research advancements, play a round of golf on one of the several award-winning courses, watch Shakespeare under a tent or explore 6,000 years of Indigenous culture.

The city is still buzzing with excitement over the Remai Modern at River Landing. This impressive facility is home to Oliver and Bonacini’s Shift Restaurant, a learning centre, convention and meeting space, and large community galleries. Particularly of note is the Picasso Gallery, featuring the world's most comprehensive collection of Picasso linocuts and other works by the famous Spanish master.

In addition to our exciting local food culture, restaurants here have really gotten behind the artisanal spirit scene and often feature Saskatoon-made spirits, beer and wine. Black Fox Farm and Distillery is a hyper-local venture where the owners combine agricultural passion with the skill of distilling. Don’t turn down a chance to sample the world’s best cask gin. Living Sky Winery makes fruit wine using cherry varietals developed right here in Saskatoon, while Lucky BastardB Distillers has a Ukrainian-inspired honey pepper vodka (Horilka) that will make you shout “Na zdorov’ya!”. Ever heard of wild-foraged craft beer? You’ll find it, and amazing tacos to boot, at Shelter Brewing in Saskatoon’s downtown.

Now that you’ve found yourself here, show us all the fun you’re having by using the hashtag #Saskatooning.
