CAOT Role Papers
CAOT is creating a new series of practice resources for our members. These new role papers will describe the unique role and area of competency of occupational therapists within the Canadian health care system, in serving specific populations, or in enabling occupations through a specific area of expertise.
CAOT Role Papers are informed by current evidence and are developed by members for members. Consequently, part of the process involves a consultation phase that will provide all CAOT members with the opportunity to read and comment on the first draft of these documents.
Member consultation phase
The first draft of CAOT Role Paper: Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants Address Suicide (provisional title) is now posted for comment until March 15, 2018 and we would love to hear your feedback.
Please send comments and questions to Julie Lapointe, CAOT Director of Knowledge Translation Programs, with the subject line “Role Paper consultation”.
