CAOT Webinar Proposal

CAOT is seeking proposals for one-hour webinars that provide evidence-informed, occupation-based, and practical resources and information that Canadian occupational therapists can take away and apply in their practice. The one-hour presentation includes a facilitated 10-15-minute Q&A period. These webinars are recorded and made available for sale as On-Demand Webinars following the live presentation. 

Qualification criteria
Please ensure your planned presentation would meet the qualification criteria prior to completing the proposal form:

  • The professional development activity must include evidence-informed, occupation-based, and practical resources and information that support the occupational therapy community in taking steps towards meeting the Competencies for Occupational Therapists in Canada (ACOTRO et al., 2021).
  • The learning objectives of the presentation relate to occupational therapy scope of practice.
  • The sources throughout the proposal and the presentation must be cited using APA Style (7th edition), including when quoting verbatim from a source, when paraphrasing or summarizing ideas from a source, when citing assessments, and by crediting image/video sources.
  • In accordance with the CAOT Style Guide, please write out all abbreviations the first time they are used (including 'occupational therapy' and 'occupational therapist'), use Canadian spelling, and use bias-free, non-judgmental and inclusive language consistent with collaborative relationship-focused occupational therapy.
  • No product/service/company is promoted.
