Patients experiencing delirium during their hospital admission have an increased mortality rate, increased hospital length of stay, and decreased level of functional independence for ADL/IADL performance at discharge. Occupational therapists are well positioned to provide meaningful interventions to aid in prevention and management of delirium. This webinar will discuss the characteristics of delirium and clinical prevalence, as well as relevance to the field of occupational therapy. This webinar will also identify the most appropriate assessment tool to detect the presence of delirium and detail traditional and cutting edge interventions for occupational therapy practitioners.

CAOT will not provide a refund after the registration deadline. If you are unable to attend the Webinar live, all webinars are recorded (unless there are exceptional technical difficulties) and registrants receive access to the recording following the Webinar.
