Occupation-focused research-stream trainee network

Wednesday, February 13th, 2019 from 1pm - 2pm EST

In Canada, the number of research-stream trainees involved in occupation-based research is growing; this includes thesis-based MSc, PhD, and post-doctoral fellow trainees. Currently there are limited national networking opportunities for research-stream trainees involved in occupation-based research. Research activities are optimized when investigators with varied perspectives and training backgrounds collaborate. Forming a national (Canadian) research-stream trainee network can enable collaboration and shared learning; this would strengthen the future of occupation-based research activities influencing the lives of Canadians.

This initial open meeting will gauge interest in the development of an occupation-focused research-stream trainee network and discuss possible group objectives, formats, and opportunities.

Participating in this network will allow members to:

  1. Connect with research-stream trainees who are interested or involved in occupation-based research impacting Canadians.
  2. Provide focused learning and sharing opportunities for group members.

Please join us in a one-hour interactive meeting, in webinar format, where the Chair will share additional information regarding the network’s purpose, goals and activities and let you know how new members can be involved. A chat session follows. The network meetings are free, registration required.

Location: Webinar details will be provided by e-mail once you have registered!
