Jordan’s Principle is a legal principle that the federal government has an obligation to uphold.  It ensures that First Nations children, no matter where they live in Canada, have access to government-funded products, supports and services. Examples of services approved may include those offered by occupational therapists.

This webinar will provide an overview of Jordan’s Principle including background information about Jordan River Anderson, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal rulings, types of services that have been approved through Jordan’s Principle, data, regional implementation, engagement, as well as a brief overview of the Inuit Child First Initiative.
