One in five Canadians live with pain, which impacts their engagement in everyday occupations and their well-being. With the emergence of a more prominent occupation perspective to pain, occupational therapy has a unique role in providing non-pharmacological services in pain rehabilitation.
The webinar will provide a brief overview of the distinct value of occupational therapy working with people in chronic pain, emphasizing the impact of pain on occupation, and the role of occupation to address pain. You will explore a time-use assessment used to gain insights into the meanings and values of everyday occupations with this population. Case examples will illustrate how to use the assessment and integrate perspectives gained from the assessment into interventions.

CAOT will not provide a refund after the registration deadline. If you are unable to attend the Webinar live, all webinars are recorded (unless there are exceptional technical difficulties) and registrants receive access to the recording following the Webinar.
