Addressing the occupation of sleep for clients with chronic pain

Register by Monday, February 3, 2020

Presenter: Sarah Good

When we have pain, it impacts our ability to attain restful sleep. When we lack sleep, our experience of pain is increased.  Understanding this relationship can help us address our clients’ sleep difficulties when they are living with chronic pain.

This webinar will explore the relationship between pain and sleep.  We will discuss assessment and appropriate intervention strategies for our clients who are living with pain and experiencing sleep difficulties.

After taking part in this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the relationship between pain and sleep.
  2. Have access to assessment tools to address sleep for clients with pain.
  3. Know about appropriate interventions available for occupational therapists to use with this population.
