Purpose
The Private Practice Clinical Network (PPCN) aims to provide a forum for sharing clinical focused expertise and experience in private practice in order to advance excellence in occupational therapy.
Objectives
- To establish a nationwide network among OTs with an interest in or any amount of clinical experience in private practice.
- To identify key issues affecting occupational therapy in private practice.
- To provide recommendation regarding the needs of OTs in private practice.
- To engage in knowledge-sharing to support best practice.
Meetings
The PPCN network meetings take place on Microsoft Teams every 2 months on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Meeting times will rotate between 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pacific (5:30 to 6:30 p.m. NL/4:00 t0 5:00 p.m. ET) and 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Pacific (8:30 to 9:30 NL/7:00 to 8:00 p.m. ET) to permit schedules of those interested.
Chairs
The PPCN is currently looking for one or two volunteers to take on the role of Chair/Co-Chairs to lead the network. Those interested can reach out to networks@caot.ca for more information.
