The EEC will build professional capacity through three distinct yet complementary aims:

number 1 Rigour. That the economic case to be made is strong. 
  
number 2 Engagement. That the members of the profession can effectively engage with the economic evidence for occupational therapy services. 
   
number 3 Advocacy. That the profession is able to effectively communicate its economic evidence case to relevant policy-makers and stakeholders. 

The EEC offers practical facts and information for you to draw upon and utilize as needed, to advance your practice and our profession.  This resource crystallizes outcomes from past work such as:

 
Its goal is to provide the occupational therapy profession with practical resources that demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of investing in occupational therapy solutions. It aims to build collective capacity in the profession over time, using a broad approach that involves all appropriate stakeholders within and outside the profession. 


This collaborative enterprise produced 3 distinct resources :  

number 1 A search engine of detailed synthesis of occupational therapy economic evidence articles.
number 2 Scientific syntheses for occupational therapists
number 3 Infographics to demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of investing in occupational therapy solutions
