The Sask-Starters Community of Practice aims to provide a forum for sharing expertise and experience for current occupational therapy students and new occupational therapy graduates to advance excellence, knowledge, and skills in the profession and foster an engaging community of occupational therapy professionals in the province of Saskatchewan.  

Objectives

  • Support a province-wide network dedicated to fostering connections among current occupational therapy students and recent graduates.
  • Participate in identifying and addressing key challenges and concerns faced by both current occupational therapy students and new occupational therapy graduates.
  • Provide informed recommendations aimed at addressing the evolving needs and aspirations of occupational therapy students and new graduates in the field.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment for knowledge-sharing, facilitating the exchange of insights and best practices to enhance the professional journey of current occupational therapy students and new occupational therapy graduates.
