Join one of our committees to be a part of this eminent occupational therapy event.

red arrow The Conference Social Committee consists of two CAOT members who are familiar with Edmonton to assist with the planning of the Conference’s opening night entertainment, the welcome by a local Indigenous elder, as well as the main social event, our dinner out in the city!
 
red arrow The Conference Steering Committee (CSC) oversees all aspects of the planning, implementation and evaluation of our conferences, while promoting and protecting equity, diversity and inclusiveness. We are seeking individuals with varied lived experiences to provide a balanced perspective on this committee for CAOT Conference 2025.  
red arrow The Conference Scientific & Clinical Program Committee (CSCPC) plans the conference program to ensure that CAOT conferences promote professional standards and reflect a diversity of occupational therapy practice and research through various networking and information sharing opportunities. 


Member required qualifications:
  • CAOT member (OT/OTA or student)
  • Living in Edmonton
  • Has experience planning an event
Term: One year

Includes conference registration and social ticket.

Member required qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years experience as an academic/researcher or clinician
  • A minimum of three years experience serving as a reviewer for conference review board or scientific journal
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as an interest in innovation and best practice
  • Individual member of the CAOT

  • Bilingual
  • Served on a conference scientific program committee
Term: Two years
